Our psychologists have a high level of training in different models of therapy, they can accommodate short or longer term therapy, and work in a way that suits you and your needs.
When we meet for the first time we can decide together what the best focus of our work might be, so that you have a customised therapy plan and the support and knowledge that you need to feel comfortable.
We know it can be difficult knowing who to trust when looking for a therapist. Our Psychologists are qualified clinicians, with many years of experience and each have a doctoral degree that requires rigorous training and assessment of competency.
We all currently work within the NHS and are fully insured and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. This means that we are committed to continuously developing our skills so that you receive us at our best.
Whether this is the first time that you are seeking help for psychological distress, or have had previous experience of therapy or even seeking a supervision space because you are a trainee or therapist.
Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and think about your challenges in a different way. This will mean that we work flexibly with evening or weekend appointments, telephone contact and Skype sessions.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through therapy, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and the joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful loss and separation. This may be following a death or a relationships breakdown. Whether you want to explore this individually or as a couple, sadness, loneliness and hopelessness are a few emotions that can be difficult. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Therapy can be beneficial to people who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection to others and themselves. This may be when you are feeling 'lost' or unsure of where you are in your life at the moment. Therapy is a supportive place to discuss issues and better strengthen your sense of identity.
